All I want for Christmas is abs that would make a cover model envious.
Why Do People Love To Complain and Be Stressed?
Published on December 16, 2003 By Frog Attack In Philosophy
I was browsing through the JoeUser blogs when I came upon THIS GEM by JillUser.
It reminded me of my episode today at the Post Office.

I had to go to our lovely local Post Office to mail some packages for work. Never fun, but I make the best of it. I'm not really DOING ANYTHING but waiting, and I'm getting paid for it. How can you go wrong?

I pulled ticket #11 and they were on #80. --- No big deal I park myself in a comfortable postion and patiently await my turn. People have boxes everywhere. Everyone is wanting to rush, rush, rush. Okay.

Now why do people get all crazy and frustrated? Post Office people aren't really known for their speed anyway, so just take some breaths. But all around me people are grumbling and complaining. It seems to be like this everywhere I go. If the line at the grocery store doesn't move at light speed, people get all upset. Heaven forbid they should be out of something you want. The problem is we have it TOO EASY!

We want our clothes dried now, our internet fast, we want to TAPE A TV SHOW AND WATCH A DIFFERENT ONE at the same time. We want any fruit anytime, whether it is in season or not. It's all very ludricrous. Instead of just sitting back and relaxing and going with the flow, people get all bent out of shape over the slightest little thing. We should just admit we're all self-absorbed and if any thing DARES to interfere with our plans today, right NOW, well WATCH out, because I'm going to COMPLAIN to somebody! Where's your MANAGER? WHO can I call? Just you wait until I start my INTERNET BOYCOTT LIST!!

Good grief. JillUser, thanks for that nice little blog and let me add to it by saying, everybody just relax!
